Things to See and Do

Touch a part of history by visiting the Glenoma Elementary Monument that is in front of the Glenoma Fire station. It is the original school entrance that is standing with its arches and symmetrical columns. Upon entry will see the wall of school history including the exterior photo of the arch entry that now stands as the monument.  All the Glenoma schoolteachers are listed there with the years that they taught at the school. This could not have been possible without the community support and donor’s contribution listed there as well.

Schools

Glenoma Elementary was built in 1932, was closed in 2003 and subsequently demolished in 2011. Depending on the location of the residence, children living in the Glenoma community attend schools in the White Pass School District or the Morton School District.
